I agree. I also think that the officer standing in the most vulnerable place in the scene should have recognized that no matter what happens here, its probably best for all parties concerned if he stood at the opposite side of the car from the responding officer, and not in front of the car and that If the suspect wants to leave, they have all the details to locate her quickly and make a safe arrest.

@george8920 I think it should be made clear. If you are a thief or accused of being one, you will be shot if you try to run. That way there is no doubt as to why someone lost their life because they stole from a store.

yea, not worth the life of a human being..........no matter what angle you look at it. If I was there trying to get her out of the car, I definitely would not be jumping out of the way of the car knowing that I have all the details to find her quickly and make a safer arrest. Im not about to be shooting anyone because of an accusation

@thedbcooperforum yea, I know! I get it now! ........the officer put himself in front of the car so that, if the woman decided to move forward, the officer could shoot her to death.

There's no evidence that she stole anything, it was an accusation. Even if she did steal, why not just make it a law that if you steal you will be shot then there wont be any controversy, it will be law.

@oolformacha I agree, we all know what it is like to watch police stand aside and allow chaos. None of us like it, not one bit but, what really gets people mad, what we really hate, is when the bad apples of the police are allowed to kill unchecked, to abuse their power, and abuse the vulnerable........makes me sick to my stomach, its revolting, its disgusting and its unacceptable. So when I see that scene unfold, I ask myself.....was there any good reason for that woman to lose her life? and I say to myself, HELL to the F'n NOOOOO!!!!!.

It’s no reason to go for a kill shot! She did a stupid thing and whether policy getting in front of running car is no less stupid. My opinion is find a safer policy. I mostly always agree with police who have a dangerous job and have split micro seconds to make the right decisions. I just feel that a kill shot was unnecessary! Yes lady broke the law and acted like a thugette but killing her was to much for my police cheerleading self. My opinion!
