  1. It doesnt matter what the wages are, inflation erodes wages, pay raises, and bonuses. If you received a 10% raise this year, a good chunk of that, if not all of it was wiped out by inflation

  2. exactly! It literally wipes out any pay increases you received as if you didnt get any increase at all then it eats into your living spend. What is worse, is that Biden will probably try to through money at it which will make it worse.......i.e the reconciliation bill build back better, or subsides for oil. Biden should have never shut our energy independence off.......a catastrophic mistake. The only way to slow and reverse inflation is to raise interest rates, we will see 18% or even higher, give it a year or two, it is going to be rough folks.
