It does not matter which crime he committed, prison him in the USA. The time to check his status and deport him was when he enlisted. These Mexican vets were used. They willingly risked their lives for the USA, and some even made the ultimate sacrifice, therefore they should be made citizens immediately.

@debndogs2208 -- Her father has already lived most of his productive life. The daughter is a mom with kids to raise. This type of donation carries many risks which was not discussed here. After a donation sometimes the donor loses stamina and is unable to work for long periods, there is the risk of death, also if her remaining kidney fails, she herself would need a donor. It was selfish of the parents to puy her on the spot about it.

Your Health is your Wealth. It is unfortunate that there are people who thinks that the only way out is to sell a body part, but I have seen where after selling a kidney, the person has lost stamina, and is unable to work for more than 2 hours a day. This donation carries all kinds on risks, not discussed her. Many times, the '''money''' is long gone on things the donor '''dreamt'' of like a washing machine etc., So what is the answer, it could be discussed with the public to consider automatic harvesting of organs, when a person dies, but at the end of the day, no amount of money, can replace your health.

Lets be rational here. The parents have lived a '''good''' life already, raised THEIR kids and are now living the second part of their lives in retirement. Now, God forbid if a child needs a kidney from a parent, then it would be right and the honorable thing to do, as the child probably has kids, and has her life ahead of her. This daughter has her kids to raise, it is selfish for the parents to even ask her to be a donor. We are only seeing the good results here. But let's say the kidney problem runs in the family, the daughter's remaining organ fails, what would happen to her kids. I have seen people donate kidneys and are unable to work for more than 2 hours a day, because of failing health and lack of stamina. Also, these poor people would not agree to donate if they were not poor. Many get weak and sick, but the money is all gone. No matter how bad things are in life, your health is your wealth.

@1MDA A person in desperate need, has no bargaining power, or any ability to agree to '''donating their organs. They are caught in a vulnerable position, which often is a lose, lose outcome for them. Do you honestly believe a rich person would agree to anything like that? That really is the point. When a man is down, society usually keeps kicking him, in order to exploit, instead of helping.

No, it usually is not a ''win, win'' No amount of money can replace a person's health. Many times, the donor end up having to seek a donor themselves, because the remaining kidney has failed. The poor people in need who becomes a donor, does it out of desperation, they cannot see beyond their immediate need, with help and counselling, they would reconsider. Later health problems creeps, but the money is long gone. Your health is your greatest wealth.

@TheGrindcorps How can that be fine, is it ok to take advantage of a person's disadvantage desperation, and ignorance? I am sure if these poor people were in a better place, they would not sell their organs. I have seen many who after donating, long after the money is gone, start having terrible health issues, and are unable to work more than two hours a day.

I have seen a very young man after donating is unable to work more than 2 hours a day, the money he received is long gone. Her dad, has reached a milestone in his life, it's unfair to expect her to take this risk

I would not like to say, '''It is the least I could for him, after all he did and sacrificed for me'''' The honest truth is, no child asked their parents to bring them on this earth. When a couple get together and decide to have kids, it really is to complete their family and wishes, or for whatever reason. Although many of us are happy to be here, for whatever reason, no couple ever said, I am going to have Tom, dick, or Harry, and they will be grateful. They decided to have kids, therefore it is their responsibility to sacrifice for them, up to the age of eighteen.

I Know of very young people who sold their kidneys and are far off worse financially than before. But the worse thing is they became very weak, unable to work for any period of time, and the money given to them, is long gone.

There is a huge difference in your choice. All your kids are grown, and you even have grandkids, so no one to really dependent on you for support. You may have years ahead of you, but now that you are free of the responsibility of raising kids, you can take this chance. Being a donor carries many risks, even death. Many who have done so have lost stamina and the ability to work for more than 2 hours, while the money is long gone. there are bad side effects which are not discussed here. Having lived the better part of their lives, it is ok for parents to give to kids, not the other way around. Besides your health is your wealth, that no amount of money can replace.

I can sense your loss; however, we have to place the blame where it belongs. The dealers are not holding guns to anyone's head forcing them to buy, if we do not require self-control, this pain will continue. Also, when addicts cannot get the '''real thing''' they buy Over the Counter drugs and concoct their own.

However, all medical workers should be well paid, by the government, funded of course by the taxpayers. Medical care should be relatively free to the population, as no one can help themselves after becoming sick. With millions of employed citizens making compulsory monthly payments in relation to their salary, subsidized by the government, we could more than pay our medical workers, and get free care like other less rich countries of the world. Thousands of soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice for us to have a USA, where we can work, study and live. without life the rest does not matter.

He is only thinking of himself, and the joy of more living. What about his daughter who has her whole life ahead of her, her kids to raise? what if the donation goes wrong for her, as it has for many others? Many donors are unable to work for more than 2 hours a day after donating, they have lost their stamina. What if the one kidney she has left fails? A good parent would think of these things instead of making her feel guilty, and possible put a lifelong staring the parent daughter relationship.

Many donors are unable to work more than 2 hour a day after donating. The father is the selfish one to even ask his daughter for a kidney. He has lived most of his productive life and raised his kids to maturity. She has kids to raise and work for. Hopefully you will never find the need to donate a kidney, because the one you have left, might crap out on you at any time. Loyalty is a wonderful thing, but blind loyalty is folly. Kidney donors usually get peanuts for a kidney, which is spent on a washing machine, etc. Never enough to buy a house or car to make a living. Anyway, no amount of money is more important than your health.

The USA plans to aid Mexico in the war on drugs with the cartels. Reminds me, during WW2, all the factories in Germany that spewed out those high-powered weapons that killed thousands of our soldiers, and allies were owned and operated by the rich USA industrialists. The USA sent our soldiers and allies to their demise from our own weapons. When the allies bombed the factories, the industrialists sued in the US courts and WON. Now the USA has armed the cartels with high-powered weapons and are planning to send our troops to help put them down.

I condemn the cruelty on all sides. However, do you know what is wrong with the world? We won't live and let live, believe and let believe. We all have to be Democrat, Dictator, Communists, Muslim, Christian. Protestant, Straight, Gay, etc., or else WAR. Let's look at Democracy in the USA. Thousands of working homeless, thousands of addicts fouling the streets. Squatters' rights, an average of 20 kids gunned down in schools, for the past years. Six-year-old taking guns to school and shooing teacher. Leave other countries with their way of life, their culture, language and religion. Let's look around us at all the dirt in our own countries.
