Historical records show that Muslims were trading African slaves in China as early as 7th century - 8 centuries prior to the first Eu ever laying eyes on the African continent.
Why don't you explain the Zanj Rebellion to us?
And might as well explain the Ethiopian child eunuchs working in Mecca today.
Or the reinvigorated slave trade of Libya (thanks to a certain American Pres).
Or perhaps the DNA admixture throughout the Maghreb ... every bit of it mitochondrial!
Or your prophet's business dealings:

The Book of Financial Transactions
Chapter: SELLING ANIMALS FOR ANIMALS of Different amounts or Quality, Hand to Hand
باب بَيْعِ الْحَيَوَانِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ يَدًا بِيَدٍ مُتَفَاضِلاً
It was narrated that Jabir Sair:
"A slave came and gave his pledge to the Messenger of Allah to emigrate, and the Prophet did not realize that he was a slave. Then his master came looking for him. The Prophet said; 'Sell him to me.' So he bought him for two black slaves, then he did not accept until he had asked; 'Is he a slave?'''

And are you aware that in all the world, the only culture that refused to join the abolition movement was Muslim?
That for decades after the Am Emanc that the "Ottomans" were still raiding Eu for slaves?
“Slavery is part of jihad, and jihad will remain as long as there is Islam.” Sheik Saleh Al-Fawzan, a member of the Senior Council of Clerics, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body, says Muslims who contend Islam is against slavery “are ignorant, not scholars.” “They are merely writers,” he said, according to SIA. “Whoever says such things is an infidel.” 2003

How did the Bantu of East Africa wind up in a 14 yr long slave revolt in Basra against the Abbasids in 869 - 573 yrs before the first Eu ship discovered Afr?
al-Tabari and al-Masudi wrote extensively about the Zanj Revolt that many scholars consider the "most fully and extensively described campaign in the whole of early Islamic historical writing."
It seems incredulous that you are unfamiliar with this event, or the well-documented history of Islamic slavery.
Chinese records show Arab traders bringing East Africans there since 673. Why, if not financial gain? From E. Africa to Iran, why if not for financial gain?
If Euros took 20M in 400 yrs in extensive/expensive ship travel, how many ?M's would you estimate were captured, in close proximity, over the past 1300+ yrs?
You own no high ground here, sir. Further, if you add the standard operating procedure of castrating all males over age 7 "even with the belly" so they were harmless to females, not only are you not on high ground, you're standing in a damned bloody hole!
Finally, you can polish your looking glass with the knowledge that no verse assigns slave ownership, much less slave trading, to the Christian prophet as is known of the Islamic prophet, and your goose is, as we say in America, cooked.
