The bigger wheels and tires throw off the gearing of the truck. Probably making it slower

Hydrate man hydrate. 100° i cant process

Our Honda CRV seems good but its better that i had oil changed. It does no good to floor them . I apply throttle and let the transmission work in the torque band of the engine. 85 is fast enough for me.
2
I think you were right about pulling the battery
2
It was easy but i got a lump on my head
2
Hopefully the plastic isnt blocking the oil pickup.
2
Sometimes the smallest victories can carry you through the day.
2
A guy could spend $4000 on repairs or $40 K on a new truck.
2
@MonkeyJedi99 had a small dog do that on an old F-250 his tail got shortened
2
That’s what I was thinkin’. Hope Ray has a good plan

Pretty truck

If americans didnt have some perverse love affair with blowing black smoke all over everybody as some kind of revenge against being economical we wouldnt need all the emissions equipment, i think now that fuel costs the same as foreign counties maybe attitudes will change. As a mechanic Im sure you understand how bad unburned fuel deposits are to an engine
2
You do whats works for you Ray!!👍
2
That wasnt too bad getting the intake off.. as compared to some cars
2
@gvet47 they hold their value well considering the cost and quality of new.
2
Nice cheap fix!
2
There is a place for 100% EV but not everywhere. Hybrids make sense in some places. Conventional engines that aren’t burning correctly waste energy that could be burned more efficiently to generate power.
2
The panel looks vulnerable .
2
You need one of those stress buttons on the wall. Or go in the bathroom and yell at the mirror. Just to destress . Lol
2
My son has a 2007 with that feature he has a device plugged into the OBD port to disable it. Less troubles 175K miles
2
Its enough to remember how everything came out and goes back together
2
I kinda like the “mechanic therapy back ground music”
2
It was 22° at my house this morning…. I take some warmth..
2
Trans jack worked nice on tank. !!
2
I’m betting he has a grand surprise Christmas present for her.
2
Looks like a lot of tinkering on a cobbled rig. It will take all your skillz!
2
Those hold down bolts were at about 137 ft/lbs coming out?
2
That 6.2 is a beast.
2
Id be interested in hearing what Rich FordBossMe thought about those cracked plugs.
2
Too many bells whistles and lights grrr
2
Did you ever just get some bearings and knock new ones in? Its a lot cheaper.
2
Im surprised at your estimate of gphour at fast idle.
2
Bermuda Triangle stuff!!! I bought a new truck in ‘79 and watched the oddometer go to all 1s 2s 3s etc.
2
😂😂😂😂
2
Sometimes those clips give me the fits and I wonder if it’s my inexperience.
2
That didnt happen overnight. Too bad
2
Nice refresh!!
2
Run some of that Amsoil treatment to push out that virus man! 😂
2
Banks and Casinos never loose.
2
Major cobble job
2
It boggles me how anyone would go to all the trouble to access that tube only to patch it rather than replace..
2
When we get deep involved in a project its easy to miss small things. Amazing that ground maintained continuity . Seems like any bounce could have broke connection wreaking havoc. Best case scenario is it stayed broke until you found it!😊
2
Ohh Dude ! Time for some panel mods to make that job easier., wow. It ain’t gotta float right? Lol you have more patience than most , Id have been after that with the sawzall early on.. 😂😂
2
You have done a great job!!! Never mind the trolls. Smh.
2
I live in the salt belt so I cringe when you dont pre spray rusty bolts but I dont complain. Lol
2
Im feeling your frustration with drum brakes!! 😵💫
2
Clearly not a northern car. Too easy
2
Sometime you might discuss the pad material differences. Some people in the north salt belt prefer soft organic pads because they wont destroy the rotors but need to be changed more often. Depending on driver habits .
2
So many warning lights how do you miss them?
2
Im surprised ( shocked) haha , shocks didnt come with new hardware.
