  1. Ok lets say that some russian special forces did help out the 'rebels'.   They were asked to go there by people east of Kiev to help fight against the corruption from Ukraine.  I still don't see how this has anything to do with the western world.   Its a country going through yet another civil war, whom has had its border changed many many times in the past.   Stop trying to use this as an excuse to waste tax dollars on the threat of ww3.   Nobody cares.  Let Ukraine have its civil war in peace.

  4. Probably the same reason outside forces helped the Americans when they gained independence, and when they had civil wars.   Just like the Americans got involved with Vietnam and Korea... etc.
