  1. Critics of gun reform need to understand - THIS is what we're afraid of. People who want an excuse to pull out their guns, and actively make a big deal of slight inconveniences. To quote Steve Hofstetter, "Every single gun owner here knows someone who owns a gun that you wish didn't."

How many other officers and agents were told by local law enforcement to stand down? I think I could forgive the ones who only did nothing because of that.

  3. To be fair, the guy at 1:13 did do his research. Aside from the first name (It was Rutherford B. Hayes), everything he said was correct. The only presidents after him who refused a legally-allowed extra term didn't have a full first one, filling in for predecessors who died in office. The point he was trying to make by bringing that up... is anyone's guess.

  10. I see another disturbing trend here. Norfolk Southern held out so long on the basic provision of sick days… only to provide it here as a convenient way to save face. Sounds to me like an incentive to deprive workers… and it probably didn’t start with this.

  45. It’s not just that so many people are fine with what Trump was promising. It’s also the number of people who voted for Biden in 2020 that couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Harris in 2024. And I can’t be that mad at them, because the Democrats only made a bare-minimum effort to come across as better.
