  13. As a general rule, if your method of gender-reveal is something you'd be uncomfortable bringing indoors - not your house specifically, just indoors - then don't do it. This one is okay. It's clearly staged, and some basements would be big enough to contain it.

Unless it can be proven that they forced guests to RSVP, or lied about them having to pay if they did... it's on the guests themselves for saying they'd come when they didn't intend to. RSVPs aren't the sort of thing you should do on a whim anyway.
