  1. It's true that not all Americans are like this... but enough of them are. Enough of them have an idea of patriotism that reveals an incredible lack of self-awareness, and these LARPers are mocking them in a way that should make them aware. Problem is, that reflection is often lost on the people it's actually supposed to reflect.

  2. Even if they are complicit, at least they're reporting on it. Corporate corruption is the last thing you'll hear about on anything that qualifies as corporate media... but here, nothing stops them from being upfront about it.
