  2. I think London does need a mayor to clean up the air and make London a vibrant diverse city. The far right will hate that.

  3.  @lynnbarsby7356  Diversity is difficult change but needed. A contingent of far right, bigoted will be disenfranchised by increasing diversity and form in-group connections pulling in elements from the extremes to counter attack. Populist politicians seeking cultural and political power from the traditonal right will pander to these groups in an attempt to politically divide and conquer hence Reform (aka Brexit Party, UKIP) vs Tories.
