Gabriel Robinson The Second World War was a result of the totally unfair Treaty of Versailles which was a form of utter vengeance on Germany, completely ruining what was left of it and causing untold damage and suffering on that country after the First World War. Were it not for the Treaty of Versailles, Hitler would not have had the motivation for his political ambitions nor have the success he did have with the German people.

  4. It is good that the end of WWI should be remembered and celebrated, but why is there not a similar Rememberance and celebration of the end of WWII which claimed almost twice as many lives as did WWI?
