  2. Ukraine is still a post-soviet country about to become a third-world country because of signing with the EU who will impose drastic austerity measures which will increase poverty, misery, unemployment and suicides a thousandfold.

  3. rubikfan1 Three thousand years ago? You've got your history wrong. Rus was created in the ninth century (i.e. 1,200 year ago) by Rurik who was a Varangian chieftain who gained control of Ladoga in 862, built the Holmgard settlement near Novgorod, and founded the Rurik Dynasty, which ruled Kievan Rus (and later Grand Duchy of Moscow and Tsardom of Russia) until the 17th century. There was no country called Ukraine at that time or any time before.
