Socialist parties used to be conservative socially. Hence why they appealed to men as well. Nowadays they are progressive communists (whining about capitalism and parading feminist and LGBT ideologies) which is exactly why no one but low T boys and women vote for them. If you want a socialist party that does appeal to the populous see slovakia.

@pixelatedpotato5749 No, not really. This trend to the right for gen z men is seen across all 1st world countries with democratic systems. It has nothing to do with "lower taxes and cheaper gas". Usually young people worry more about the future they will have to live in, so their voting patterns are more ideological than self-preserving. Young men have been voting more and more to the right and are starting to become more and more conservative and traditional because they've been fully disilusioned by the extremely feminine politics that have governed the West for decades. Issues like feminism and the destruction of the dating market, immigration and the ramifications in Western societies and the burden of carrying more and more old people in their backs is causing this.

@reaux3921 Huh? Western women are by far the most privileged and cuddled group in humanity's history. Suggesting that men have it easier is ridiculous.

@fitzstv8506 Greece? We literally elected 3 far-right parties and one center-right party in parliament. Wdym Greece is not turning right wing? Spain's right wing party and far right party are polling better than 2019's EU elections. Ireland is not turning right as a whole but their small far-right faction is growing.

@fitzstv8506 Not really. The Nazis were progressives for the time. Their policies were anti-Christian since the ideology did start from marxist thought. You could make the argument that they were socially conservative excluding the Christian dogma but so were the communists in the USSR. Economically the Nazis had a quasi corporatist system that kind of resembled socialism/state capitalism. They are usually put in the center in terms of economics as they did allow corporations to exist, but the corporations were subjugated at the will of the government, and the party had installed their own people at the top of the largest corporations.

@fitzstv8506 Fascism is a collectivist ideology. Nowadays the right is the least collectivist faction. Fascism has nothing to do with any modern widely known far-right or right parties. Your comments are beyond restarted, nevermind "accurate". The Nazis were progressives of the time along with the socialists. Yet here you are claiming that Nazis that have been completely eradicated from political life in Europe are somehow present. Yet here you have socialists and extreme progressivists and you never mention anything about it. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, can you give me any widely voted European party that is actually Nazis?

@bloodwargaming3662 Conservatives? You mean neocons? There are plenty of conservative parties that are not socially left and they are usually called far-right. Is Victor Orban socially left? How about Confederaja in Poland? Vox in Spain? The most I can give you is that many of them are also in support of feminism (at least 1st and 2nd wave aka right to vote and women's emancipation/sexual liberation).

@herroberbesserwisser7331 Muh Incel. LoL. I thought bodycount doesn't matter, so why are you using bodycount related insults?
1
@fitzstv8506 But they were not. Did you even read my comment?

@fitzstv8506 How are they? You claim they are but how so? Just claiming they are isn't enough. Provide evidence.

@fitzstv8506 Good argument buddy. Just exposed yourself of being a total fraud. Now I will ask last time, tell me a few policies that make them Nazis.

@herroberbesserwisser7331 I know far better than you how political ideologies work. Fascism is a collectivist ideology that sprouted from French marxists and flourished in Italy. Go see any political compasses, the most famous one, has fascism as center in the left-right axis and authoritarian at the authoritarian-libertarian axis. Nazism is just a little more right than fascism, but at the same level of authoritarianism. You can look up political compass by ideology. The far-right ideologies revolve around anarcho-capitalism, monarchism and conservatism.

@herroberbesserwisser7331 The only difference in this definition with communist nations is "belief in a natural social hierarchy". And in the theory of communism (which never comes to pass in the real world) there is also not "ultranationalist political ideology" because Marx said that the communist revolution ought to happen at once throughout the world and will lead to the abolition of the state/country. However in practice communist nations also had "ultranationalist political ideology" But I didn't expect much from someone that gets their information from the first thing google serves him. Maybe go read a book or watch an analysis on fascistic ideology and how it was created. If you want I can give you references but tomorrow.

@fitzstv8506 Xenophobia would indicate aversion to foreigners. We like Europeans and even east asians. The 3rd worlders and the muslims are the ones we dislike.

I'd say feminism is the core issue that created all this. Women voted for mass migration. Feminism destroyed the dating market which caused the plummeting birth rates. Even if immigration is stopped, the current migrants will outbreed the native population because women do not seek a family young and because men do not want a feminist modern woman to be the mother of their children.

We saw how these people acted when Andrew Tate blew up. Instead of understanding why young men flock to Andrew Tate and providing a more healthy alternative, they called them bigots, misogynists and sexists. Sadly nothing in the left can represent a masculine man and the establishment right is filled with simps and feminists, hence making young men radicalized.

@oracle372 Meloni being the successor of a neofascist party is a left wing conspiracy theory. She is right-wing at best and she has been quite tame on her policies. What she aspoused is just plain right-wing ideology and what she implemented is barely center-right.

@nathanspreitzer6738 Immigration is definitely one of the reasons. But feminism is the other reason. Young men are starting to realize what feminism has created. A decadent society that spits on their face and uses them without offering anything back. Feminism has destroyed the dating market and has made the life of men much harder in every aspect. It's a destructive virus that needs to be eradicated from Western society if we hope to recover from the imminent population collapses that all of the modern world is heading towards.
