if the earth is flat then you should be able to all the way to the other side no matter your elevation. If I put my eye down to the floor I can see the wall at the end of the floor just like I can the same wall when I stand up, that would mean you'd always be able to see the peak of mount everest from every location on the flat earth ..... but you can't !!?!?!?!?!? ..... why ???????
