  2. Shawn II: all militaries have stuff that you wounder what they where thinking. My own has a tradition of keeping stuff long after their use by date. we had a mauser rifle that wasn´t taken out of service until the end of the coldwar. yes it was units that had them. it wasn´t like it was rifle forgoten in some arsenal or for parade use only.
