  1. compared to the expanded gas and presure wave the bulliet almost dont move. as most of the pressure cant go forward. It goes backwards. propeling the barrel and bulliet combination forward.

  2. Have you forgoten the inside of the barrel and its riflling then as long as the bullit is in the barrel it works as a block.

  3. don´t forget that the presure wave from the explosion moves around 1800m/s and the bullit might do 300m/s.
