@alangardner8596 It's just a mutually beneficial contract between parties and like any contract either party can change without prior agreement of the other party, however, such action risks any consequential change either party is prepared to apply. There's no 'international law' about it.

Have you read the Good Friday Agreement? The reason I ask is I have read it and it doesn't mention 'customs' 'trade' 'immigration' 'visas' or anything about 'border control'. In fact, the Good Friday Agreement acknowledges Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom and is a separate country to Republic Of Ireland.

Don't forget Boris went to Eton where they have a class called 'How To Deal With Johnny Foreigner'...

@evelbsstudio It was a massive win for Leave, because the 'in power' establishment and media campaigned hard for Remain. Think of it this way: Brexit was the 'high risk' option and remain was the 'safe' option. Now look at the group of voters (perhaps 20 million) who were in 'two minds' - obviously, most will have gone for the safe option, but now they accept Brexit and will never vote to re-join the EU.

@ciaranbrk You were talking about a "customs border" not the 'EU court of human rights' - where does it say ROI or UK must not leave the EU? What has mutual trade regulation between two separate countries have to do with 'human rights'? The 'Common Travel Area' has not been changed by Brexit.

That's one way of skirting around the facts.

Really? How perverse. All the evidence shows the 'federal Europe project' was a deception and imposition from the start. The 'small village sized' group of people responsible have always lied to the UK people about their vision for the UK. During the 2016 referendum Remain lied repeatedly and Leave stated arguable fact. After UK people rejected participation in a federal Europe; pro-EU activists did the only thing available to oppose democracy - they falsely claimed the electorate had been lied to.

@CradaOC So, it should be easy for you to cite some Leave words verbatim and to demonstrate those words to be a knowingly false statement intended to deceive. Go on then..

@evelbsstudio What's that supposed to mean?

@evelbsstudio If Remain had won, Brexit didn't happen and Cameron was PM - you would be saying all those things about the Tory government.

Red rag for Starmer to oppose the UK's best interests and evaporate Labour's poll lead.
