  3.  @Tridhos  I agree that all politicians are skilled at giving out information in a way that best serves their particular cause. However, suggesting there should be a referendum is not really a lie. And Farage saying he would continue campaigning for the UK to leave the EU, is quite different from MPs (that have handed the question to the electorate) not respecting the decision the electorate has given. If you look at Campbell in this interview, his very first answer/sentence is a lie: "The question would arise whether the country could unite around it" So he's responding to question about why the people should follow a second referendum with a Remain win when they should not follow the first. Who would ask that question? And how would the answer be yes? He then states: "The country just hasn't united". Well, it has united as much as it can - it's just political elites like him will not respect the vote. A referendum is never about 'uniting a country' it's always about getting a decision from a divided country. He then states: "The campaign was won on a lot of lies" which of course is not true... The whole interview is carefully crafted wordplay and deception from a man who is a master of sophistry and has made his living from it.
