  2. @A Nicol I live in England and my votes have only counted when I voted tactically. Mostly, they have been thrown in the FPTP dustbin. Democracy, means not everyone gets what they voted for, but everyone gets what everyone voted for. I's not perfect but it's better than dictatorship. Scotland is 5.2 million people in a democratic political union of 65.5 million people. It would have even less say in a less democratic political union of 450 million people.
