I wonder why no one questions why people or even organisations develop prejudices & dislike toward certain groups in society? Could it be that they DO actually have documented evidence & conclusive proof that MANY members of the traveling community have been disruptive & destructive in their facilities? Do they have the same actual tangible, visceral, physical evidence to present against the Pole or Chinese communities say? I would say not but even I could give you first hand unpleasant accounts of these people including trashing hotel rooms in our local Holiday Inn & defecating in beds. My sister obtained a cat that had belonged to a traveling family in Rainham who's kids, when the cat was a kitten, had nailed it's paw to the fucking floor! There are some good among them but a fecking lot of bad! This has NOTHING to do with anti Irish sentient either - The true Irish are wonderful people. They were actual clever enough to pay their travellers to come to the UK a few years back to get shot of them! If we are going to progress as a fair & balanced society we can't just sweep such inconvenient & irrefutable information under the carpet & put up some sober & sane "spokesperson" for the travelling with the intent of making us feel we are all ignorant, ill informed & racist bigots! Some of us have walked many miles in many shoes & know & have seen many things....
