  1. I am living in this region. I can't attend but it sounds like fun. High View is actually in West Virginia which has it's own set of gun laws. A warning to all. Sometimes in March it can get very cold. Also it is a good idea to study and bring a paper map (I endorse the paper Delorme book maps) before driving the roads. I have seen places around Capon where both my phone and my GPS says, 'no signal.' Likewise, some of the mountain roads can be scary when wet in the daylight. When icy at night they can be terrifying. Also in March we sometimes get deep (30+ inches) snow and snow plowing of side roads is sometimes slow. Keep some rations, a candle with matches or a lighter, aluminum foil, a small shovel, flares, and a blanket in your vehicle.
