  1. I was under the impression that early 'experiments' with these modifications included field trials in Poland or the Ukraine, but of course that is just a very old impression not supported by any photos I still have. One major drawback to these is what happens when the sliding attacment gets dinged in use, or worse, gets lost? Answer a gun that is a paper weight. :)
