@MiaN..N if you’d like Amelia to go away, just ask her to produce some actual science or evidence. works every time.

@avonord that would be a good piece of information to have in my files. would you please refer me to a source?

@avonord this might make for some interesting reading. lots where this came from if you are interested. Assessing mandatory stay-at-home and business closure effects on the spread of COVID-19 "While small benefits cannot be excluded, we do not find significant benefits on case growth of more restrictive NPIs. Similar reductions in case growth may be achievable with less?restrictive interventions."

@emilybelt1564 but understand that there are estimates out of europe and the UK that the adverse events report may only be from about 10-15% of the actual. i don’t see why the US Vaers database would be any more complete than that, especially in reference to their inflation of case and death stats.

@darlene2709 ah Amelia. you didn’t notice then that all the references i have made have been to peer reviewed studies or in the case of masks, to Random Control Trials, which is the gold standard of how to do things in actual science. not that you’d read of them. the real irony here is that all the ‘evidence’ that either masks or lockdowns work is anecdotal. which is why no government or yourself has actually been able to produce anything but. sigh. thick as a brick is a term that comes to mind.

@darlene2709 sad. very sad. when science that may not support an official strategy is dismissed as conspiracy. when experts that have a different opinion based on facts are likewise dismissed. to function properly, a democracy needs an informed electorate. gone now i suppose.

@darlene2709 you posting this for someone else’s benefit. i’m not sure how a study from the people who bring us the vaccine about it’s safety is convincing. maybe in the same way the original months long studies assure us they are safe. i’ll wait for the long term studies. oh, wait, there are no long term studies and with the elimination of any control populations, there can never be. convenient.
2
@darlene2709 of course, quoting from mainstream media is always convincing.

@TheLastChapter2023 this might make for some interesting reading. this report was challenged and defended. all the links are included in the header to the story. The uncovering of the vaccination data in Israel reveals a frightening picture "We conclude that the Pfizer vaccines, for the elderly, killed during the 5-week vaccination period about 40 times more people than the disease itself would have killed, and about 260 times more people than the disease among the younger age class."

@TheLastChapter2023 you could always go and read it and with the full information make an informed opinion. or not.

@TheLastChapter2023 i’ve moved away from mainstream for reliability a long time ago. cbc is good for small local stories but not much else. the rest are pretty much the same. if you want good stuff, you have to hunt for it. global research, ukcolumn are a good starting place. both fully reference sources.
