@Puggalug Increases in COVID‐19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States “At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days (Fig. 1). In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. “

@donkey5494 well, we can look at the facts, or we can listen to the propaganda.

@donkey5494 this is going to be easy. all we need to do is wait a couple of months to see this next flu season come fully in. if we unvaxxed have made an error, we’ll have a better than 99% chance of being just fine. if the vaxxed made a error, then there is nothing to be done. remember the ferrets.

@Puggalug Nosocomial outbreak caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant in a highly vaccinated population, Israel, July 2021 “Although reports of breakthrough infections are increasing [10-12], this communication emphasises several points. It challenges the assumption that high universal vaccination rates will lead to herd immunity and prevent COVID-19 outbreaks. This was probably true for the wild-type SARS-CoV-2 virus, but in the outbreak described here, 96.2% of the exposed population was vaccinated. Infection advanced rapidly (many cases became symptomatic within 2 days of exposure), and viral load was high.”
