  2. maybe that’s the test. if you can’t breath, then the mask works. if you can, then it doesn’t.

  3. actually, the BCCDC references a study which found that cotton masks with 12 to 16 layers may provide some protection. none of the RCT studies i have went to that extremes, limiting themselves to N95 at best.

  4. i’m not sure a person could breath through a 16 layer mask, but that might be the fix they’re talking about.
