Their currency is actually ISSUED by France and France has actually been arming Islamic terrorist in the Sahel. Russia is very popular in the Sahel and the military coup goverments there have been kicking out the French and French milatary bases and are contracting with Russia's Wagner group to defeat the terrorists.
