  1.  @klaudioabazi4478  I don't think it is as stable a union as the Soviet Union. To me that makes it more hopeful and a nasty crash like the Soviet Union less probable. Less stable in that they can change paths and not let it get to the point of compleate colapse.

  2. There is some speculation that the recient rise in gold values might make gold more of an international flight to safty than US dollar T-bonds.... This could reduce dollar values internationally..
