@locoporelcine1 Ukraine has a slick advertisment for the couter offencive... The weather that firms up the mud won't last forever... I tend to think there will be an offnsive before the weather gets bad agaain.

@joshuamitchell1733 I doubt that Russia is going to agree to the outcome where Ukrine is owned by Wall Street and is being continuously armed by Nato. Russia has already said that they will create a buffer zone where the weapons that Nato is sending Ukraine can't attack Russian teratory and Ukraine is at a serious disadvantage when it comes to Nato's millatary industrial base.

@quietus13 The Donbas has been figthing against Ukraine for nine years now and the Russians have considerably more military industrial copacity than Nato as well as more advanced weapon systems.

They should just quit. If they were to quit as of April of last year all they would have had to do was to ratify the Minsk accords from '15. With these coninuations they are likely to lose access to the Black Sea through Odesa...

@barrybarnes96 Arguably you are right. The wars have enriched the US millatary industrial complex and up until this point have destroyed the world's abillity to resist vulture capitalism as an extention of colonialism... The changes we are seeing in both the abillity to expand mulitiantional monopolies asset value growth along with the exesses of the use of the dollar as an insturment of war have nessesitated creating alternatives to the destruction of capital in the west and it's proxies.

@CornPopWazABadDude There really wasn't' an 'offensive' by the Russians in about a year.

@bluskytoo Indications are that the Russians are ploding along with an offesive of their own.... Sanctions have also been a huge boon to the Russian economy, just as the west has issues with their millatary output.... So the Russians are all good on that front as well.

@quietus13 It is like rates of capital investment.... The Russians have the military industrial capacity as well as the social millatary capacity to overcome Nato over time.. Perhaps their peace proposals are borring you to tears? The point is that they have the capacity to get rid of a threat at their border... This includes political capacity, industiral capacity including the socal capacity in terms of millatary orginsation to get rid of this threat... The odd thing is that the war was an effort to have sancitons obstenively against russia odd that they seem to be designed to streghten russia over time... The contridictions of the western strategy and tactics are enough to take your breath away... Don't think about it too much... People can be abjectly incompentent.

@gregbeyer9507 I think they are going on the analysis of Lindsay Graham or John Bolton.... A wish is not a plan.

@vigilante8374 There is two choices about the war: The Truth as told by the CIA, US main stream media and US funded Ukraine goverment.... Earlier itterations of what it took NOT to be a 'comrade' or 'putin puppet' was that in order NOT to be a Russian Bot you had to believe Trump was intalled by Putin. So if you profess not to be a 'purin puppet' your an idiot.
1
@gregbeyer9507 The russians started a defensive industry not long after Putin got rid of the kleptocracy that Yeltsin left....The US and allies have a millatary industrial complex that is more based on short term gain than on production and defence. The collective west is at a disadvantage going up against Russia. Western armies arn't ready to go to war against Russia. The West will lose.... That is the army that they have.

@teleguy5699 Ukraine dosn't have the equimpent, amunition, personel or air cover.... Russia is benifiting massively from the sanctions that were the reason for the war... Sanctions are shaping the main battlefield where all the wars will be faught.
1
@teleguy5699 Yes the Russians have air Supriority as apposed to Supremicy.... This means that for the most part they can see whatever they want to see and decide when and if they want to target it.... The biggest exposions in the region have occured since Ukraine took down it's comunication devices where local people can up load the videos of the explosions... I am sure recordings of amo depots will come out of Ukraine some day... Ukraine has a probem in that the ground gets vehicles stuck Ukraine needs to use the roads and train tracks to move stuff.... This and the long supply lines make it so that here is tactical consintrations that the Russians can see... In the long term, allmost every aspect of sactions strenghtens the Russian economy, food, monitary, manufacturing..... This is in contrast to how the 90's, when Russia thugth they could profit from being a friend of the west and it destroyed them... In being an enimy of the west, Russia is proffiting.... Sanctions usually kill many hudered thousand people, in Syria, Venezuela... They are a real assist for Russia to thrive...

As President Putin is increasingly popular and the economy of Russia has some powerful long term eassitance in it's growth via sanctions, perahps most 'regimes' are relatively fragile compared to Russia's
