@Jahvec They have a tendency to be soverign.... Sanctions have been strengheing food, money and other economic soverenty.... When Russia was our [I am US citizen] 'friend' these were things that were in serious doubt. Homelesness as well as a decreasing life span were huge problems... If you are German you are probably about to experience the soverenty that you turned over to US as German manufacturing is relocated in the US. With respect to Russia Putin became a huge boogy man in the US because he stopped the kinds of things that Germany will most likely be subjected to.

Siemens, the german company that services the pumps, signed off on the maintence issues that the pumps were expiriencing causing an emergency shutdown of the single pump in operation.... Siemens has been working on a work around from the sanctions but has failed to get the nessessary equipment to service the pumps.

If it was a putin installed goverment, it was a soft coup and not the unconstitutional coup that the west employed.... My information comes from the documentary in '18 "Ukraine Burning" which I believe is now censored in many places but I belive it is still available where I sit. Yes loads of people are dying in Ukraine and most are Ukrainian GIs killed by orcs. Those Orcs will have to collect, identify and transport all those dead conscripts.... So the orcs didn't raally win the war... One of the off-ramp speculations are that there will be marketing that putin is so unstable that it would be dangerous to embarrass him. It's all bad...

@Ukie88 Siemens it's self is signing off on their inabillty to do work arounds for the sanctions so that they can maintain the equipment. They had redundancy before the sanctions took hold.... Now they have a single piece that has some issues where they can't put it back on line... It is notable that the main target of these sanctions is not russia or china but to keep western monopolies financialy stable by subjigating europe in the new cold war.

He is a hack... .Russia withdraw from Kiev, Ukraine nationalists kill suspected russian colaborators there and blame Russia.... It is possilbe that the russians are giving proposals during a supplying opperation in preporation for an offincive in the russian eastern part of Ukraine.

@The.Curious I dispute that Zeleinski is in charge of the millatary and his country. My impression is that the ultra nationalists and the US are asserting control... Just as the US has control over the EU and nato. It is arguable that the crushing economic sanctions to isolate the europeans will cause political instabillty there by winter

@eddiebravo5593 What I seem to think is if the shanghai coop agreement group, which includes russia, china, iran, india... can join with other economic engines, some of which have had their assets in dollars and oil stollen by the US... Can they become a hedge against US hegimony? Sure china can mostly function all by it's self but it also has a world wide belt and road initiatives where they are making ports and rail lines all around the world.... This is what the real threat to the US is... The US's modle is economic liberalism, meaning they want to be able to own everything and charge what they want... People keeping their capital in house, not charging exhorpentent rents on it is a real threat to that model.

@briancollum1060 Indeed there is no jusification for targeting hospitals, schools, residential blocks uless you have an occupation that is dug in to those residential areas... The russians did some shelling of the positions of the nationalist partisans and brought in the Chechins to do the mop up in Maripol... Reports are that the nationalists were keeping civillians in those areas and not letting them leave... Vidoes of the nationalists killing 'colaborators' and russian POWs as well.

@leachimy24 POWs who are russian often get killed... Those who are partisans [Ukraine nationalsts] get through a russian POW intake process... Civillians often get targeted dirrectly by Ukraine light arms and shelling.... Lie dead in the streets...

@owenb8636 I don't know what will happen but it is clear that russian can take the donbas.... There is no indictation that that alone will be enough to end the war... My assumption is that russia won't budge on demillatarizing, ukraine and having hostillties that have happened in the donbas for eight years stop.... The US won't budge on controling the narrative in the west and sending more weapons they want a stable war. So what are the failure modes for the US's goal of having a stable war? These are speculative: Ukraine people get tired of sending people to die or going to die and have a grass roots effort to stop, Ukraine generals do a coup and stop the war [this was attempted during world war two in Germany] and political instabiallity in the west because the sanctions are causeing economic hardships. It could turn itno a ten to tweny year war like Iraq, Afganistan, Syria.... Which goes to show you that US policy is not racist. They will kill who ever they have to to make their political/economic objectives. I am from chicago..

The only goal of the US is to have a stable war... They have had false flags before for chemical weopons in Syria, WMD in Iraq as well as some questionable claims in the case of a province outside of Kiev... Germans are nothing but sock puppits to the US... My understanding is that they have no expectaion of freedom of speech that we have here... And freedom of speech is beaing challenged here as well.

Russian bot or not, the west seems to be losing the economic and millatary war... The driving force behind the offensive is to isolate europe from russia so that western interests can buy european assets at a fire sale as well as weaken russia... Weakening europe worked but it is possible that europe will become nationalistic and kick out the americans.... Weakeing russia failed. Russia decided that it will not accept payments to made in accounts in western banks and insisted that they be payed in rubles.... The ruble gained 50% since last year against the dollar. Soon all the flap will turn to china.... It is not clear that people will forget urkraine-russia like they did lybia, syria, iraq, iran, venezuela, afganistan... What will we be called when we notice that china wins that conflict? Chinese Bots?

@juliuszkocinski7478 I can throw out a speculation... Ukaine had about 200 civillians trapped at the steel plant as well as many GIs marked with swasticas... The GIs wern't really doing anythning effective other than saying that Mariopol was constested and in theory if the russians blew up the plat they would give it as an example of where the russians killed civillians. It was a strategy during world war two that germans wouldn't retreat and would be anialated holding ground... My thory is that they blew up the bridge so that they could hold GIs in the area on the other side of the river. Some claim the russians have between 10 and 20 times more alterlery than the Ukrainians.
