  1. It takes time to train on these intergrated weapon systems.... Ukraine has some people traing in germany and in polland on a nato standards four month training regimon. It is hard to imagine how they can get those heavy weapons and personel on the battel field in the break away provinces at that time... If I were a betting person I would say that by the time the personel is trained, russia will have liberated the donbass.

  2. They thought Sievierodonetsk would be liberated in a week, then they sudenly planed on three days.. Turns out, the ocupiers left to the other side of the river in three hours. That quick retreat could save much of Sievierodonetsk's infrastructure.

  3.  @owenb8636  I don't know what will happen but it is clear that russian can take the donbas.... There is no indictation that that alone will be enough to end the war... My assumption is that russia won't budge on demillatarizing, ukraine and having hostillties that have happened in the donbas for eight years stop.... The US won't budge on controling the narrative in the west and sending more weapons they want a stable war. So what are the failure modes for the US's goal of having a stable war? These are speculative: Ukraine people get tired of sending people to die or going to die and have a grass roots effort to stop, Ukraine generals do a coup and stop the war [this was attempted during world war two in Germany] and political instabiallity in the west because the sanctions are causeing economic hardships. It could turn itno a ten to tweny year war like Iraq, Afganistan, Syria.... Which goes to show you that US policy is not racist. They will kill who ever they have to to make their political/economic objectives. I am from chicago..
