Thank Obummer for the way he handled the sub prime mortgage crisis.

@beatricepastor218 Needless to say, pain causes changes in behavior... I don't know enough about energy dependent industries or energyu infrastructure to know in what time frame they can set into motion self survival.... Russia survived the neoliberal deindustrialization onslaught of the ninties, turned it around.... Euope is not russia... Africa might emerge as the new industrial marvel like china and leave europe behind.
4
100,000 is the number that Vanderline EU mangler quoted... Spisifically she said it was 'Ukrainain officers'.... With civillains killed as well as russian GIs... 150,000 seems reasoable.
4
On a lighter note, the war is driven to support sanctions... Mostly against europe. Who benefits from war, deindustrialization and feudalism? It is easier to see the behaviors, I do, than to see who is benefitting from it.
4
@SeattlePioneer Too funny... Swedes are tough... No sacrifice is too great... "I know that most of you will die but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make"
4
@SeattlePioneer I heard it was chillier in Sweden than it is in Cuba or Sri Lanka... Perhaps it is darker in the winter as well.
4
What became of the steel plant?
4
@alankeungz79 Tuck295 says we are 'bots' Do you know where to go to pick up your check for being a russian bot? More money would be nice.
4
Arguably the european experiment was based on US hegemony. The idea is that the EU would catabolize it's self and be weaker so that the US and the dollar can remain hegemon. The sanctions against russia and china were planned well in advance of the russian invasion of Ukraine, they were supported by multiple administrations in the US and the point behind the sanctions were for the US to maintain dollar hegemon and protection of US multinational monopolies.
4
The supply lines to the Ukraine front are tenuous at best... My impression is that fresh troops with plenty of toys on the russian side will keep russian GIs active during the winter... ... I hope they end the sanctions as well...
4
@gingef5197 I tend to think it will be much less than a million. Russia had to deal with the neolibs austerity agenda in the ninties... They survived.... Africa survives.... Russia learned something from their failings.
4
@anshukumar-dn3hx The idea that the west cares about gender issues in pakistan or even human rights in general is laughable.
4
@mick20227 There is an argument that if you have a dictator who keeps the banks and the preditors away from monoopolies that is the only way to prevent a return to feudalism.... Maggie Thacher said we have no other choice besid a slow slide into hereditory aligarky...
4
@williaminnes6635 Got to take care of yourself first. I often question my wisdom in understanding these things... What I seem to be getting from it is a more realistic understanding of human nature... I believe that understanding will profit me personally. Perhaps it steels me to the fact that somethings/people are fucked up and not to take it personally..
3
@alangunningham5667 I chose a russian bot identity all the time we were being told that putin installed trump... I wore it as a badge of honor.
3
Not if your an ameican... They are sending all of their industry over here.
3
@bertanelson8062 I ain't never heard of the US giving back the gold, assets on american soil and the dollar resaves that they confiscated from Venezuela. These confiscations that are done if you do something that disturbs the US empire make the dollar a risky investment. The US tried two coups with commandos from Columbia. Columbia is now attempting to assert it's sovereignty. They also did loads of piracy in the high seas. I don't know how the Caribbean can prevent that or if there is a work around.
3
@VIAGRA465 With a cost, if they focus on the real dynamic and realistic paragdms. Examples of where realistic speaking can get you in trouble: Ukraine, imiralism, economics and the corona virus.
3
@andyhughes1776 The war is all pretense to justify sanctions... Zelinsky and Ukrainians don't seem to have any say at all in the war...
3
Not in the industrializing east....
3
@tomdziczek9676 To answer your query the new world order was thought to be the end of history and a unipolar dollar hegemon world at the fall of the soviet union and the installation of Yeltsin in Russia. Because the neoliberal agenda, which is essentially feudalism, which included central banks floating speculation in asset values was deindustrializing the west has a great deal of trouble keeping that hegemony.. That is what these conflicts in the 2000's are about... Of course, it is a study like watching a horror flick , that instead of being a diversion is reality and happening in real time.... It is football [american football] day in the states.
3
@pookiewookie7679 ... The goal of Nato was the sections.. Mostly to keep europe in the western hegemony.... The war put an emotional face on the euopean sanctions.
3
@dichaelovic The idea of rights is a red harring.... Example: Ukraine has the right to join nato and send nazis to kill as many of their russian citizens as possible.... But is that good? Will there be consequneses? Perhaps serbia has the right to do buisness with russia.... What is the cost benifit to serbia? The EU has the right to try and boycot russia, which was planned before the invasion. But what are the consequenses of not doing buisness with russia? What are your rights in these things dosen't seem to make any sense.
3
Yes... Things between people get heated and people talk in pointed ways... Normal stuff.
3
@beatricepastor218 'Not sure of the critical time frame for heat and electric in europe. It is possible that the major disaster will happen next winter not this winter.
3
@arthurmurphy2000 Play stupid games, get stupid prizes.
3
@BR-kq7kt Why you think that the politicians don't have a choice in how the money is spent?
3
@h.m.siesel7363 It seems impossible that the US wasn't involved... The US president was in a press conference with german PM Shultz and said that if russia invades Ukraine, and he was specific about what he meant by that, he would put an end to Nord Stream 2, when pressed by a reporter on how that would be accomplished, he said "Believe me, we will make it happen" Later US secretary of state Blinken said that the destruction of the pipeline was a tremendous opportunity for the US.
3
@Emtbsloveniatours I suggest getting your own house in order and showing US labor how to do it..... Not condemning common US people who don't have power over these things.
3
@barbmartell7901 Truth be told, I am an english speaking mechanical designer.... I wanna go where things are being made... That is why I have an interest in the plant....
3
The 'HE' that you refer to is no longer the benifit of the people of the US. Reagan sanctified neoliberalism and Obama made a home run with it.
3
I hope she can resist the european sanctions, buy cheep energy from russia, save Italian industries and relocate industries from the european stupid block.
3
@michaelsaint9181 Got to love Zaleski the ultimate prankster... Deserves a heroes welcome in Moscow as well... Lot of 'snow' there as well.
3
@peterlamin8363 It is getting obvious that the US empire is in huge trouble but it is not because they put dollars in cerculation.
3
@privateAcc0unt The dollar ain't ded yet but it is stuggeling. One reason it is stuggleing is because it isn't really a safe place to park resorces because those resources can be taken away if a country decides to go industrial for it's self instead of liberalizing the economy for US extractie intersts... [Venesula, Russia, Iran] Other reason is because of pirodic trade bariers, like the ones that trump raised keeps the cycle of dollars from flowing... The petro ruble [another fiat] is the best preforming currency this year because russia insisted in being paid for it's energy, and other commodites in rubles, which it can actually print via fiat. There is a great deal of distruption in everything... .My impression is that the dollar will hold on for a while as the main international currency but that as the antics of the US become untenable as it tries to hold on, other emerging fiat currncies will become more popular to settle purchaces world wide.
3
Good catch.
3
Perhaps the weapons that Ukraine is shedding will show up in antics like this.
3
What happens when the german industrial economy fails as was planned by the US? My understanding is that german industry is what makes it able to dominate the EU in it's interests. If that fails will much of europe find it's self in the same situation necessitating reasonable proposals by the southern states?
3
@adamhartley3482 What are the economic actions of the World Bank and the IMF [which are set up to support dollar hegemony and US monopolies] Sanctions, war and other things that the US does to support hegemony.... How often do those things deplete those goals?
2
@williaminnes6635 So much energy divining reasonable narratives.... My feeling is if you by some coincidence and dogged curiosity come to reasonable narratives you have accomplished something.. It certainly is human nature to think so after the fact...
2
@williaminnes6635 So all you know is that they are lying to you? That is not enough because for every false narratives they give you there are a myriad of possible narratives, most are not reasonable. There are very few that are reasonable. While we do appreciate academics, some fields favor fake narratives as well. Scott Ritter's narratives about the realities on the ground in this war are reasonable and based on a lot of experience.
2
@jibee9755 It is curious to me why former democrats care if the democrats or the republicans win anymore. I voted against my reagan revolutionary democratic senator.
2
@TrippyVerse Russia did it after the neoliberal revolution of the nineties... I don't think europe has the same advantages: large contiguous land mass, homogenous smart as fuck ethnics, huge resources...
2
How to do that if they have forever and for a long time given up their monetary sovereignty and other sovereignties to the US?
2
@mamacryright5740 Switserland is like the old off shore banking.... It made it's money by hiding money.... That function has been taken up by Delaware, Crocodile Islands, irland... Some place in africa.... It is a fuction of devolving into feudalism where the oligarchs can have whatever they want via stealth... The guy that describes how capital is made/destroyed is Michael Hudson. You still think that someone who isn't fabulously wealthy.... Can do it with the fresh faced snaggle toothed [dumb] cuties like her?
2
@mamacryright5740 I am torn between staying and going.... I am sure europe is populated by really cute really dumb girls.
2
@voltydequa845 Not that I mastered much economics.... My meantor in this case is Hudson.... I be reading his 'destiny of civilization' a bit slow.... Some of his books are dificult to read because of distressing content....
2
@voltydequa845 I tutored all of popular math at university along with psychics... And basic chem, computer applications.... Videos are assembled by people who know how to do things as well as liars and fools...
2
@faharoon357 It is sad... There is plenty to go around but the bankers don't really want that so europe freezes and deindustrializes. I am somewhat less sheltered than I wish to be my self, so if some of those industries come here my life is better... It doesn't have to be the zero sum game but it is.
2
@killerbeuk The idea of the sanctions are to isolate europe from china and russia so that they have no choice but to buy from monopolies in the west.... If they send the production to china that defeats the purpose. Not that the US has an integrated economic plan. I really think that US operatives thought that the sanctions would destroy russia and this year the rubel is the best preforming currency in the world. As a mechanical designer myself I would hope that they would be able to bring some of those industries from europe to the US but I am not part of high energy production industries.... Not steal, not chemicals not paper... I don't know how those ramp up.
