@maxheadrom3088 So far she has been wrong... While the invasion met all of the goals of the west, the rubel picked up value agaist both the dollar and the euro since. One of the most important western goals was to sanction europe away from russia's and china's economic sphere of infuence.... My impression [speculative 'cause it is in procces and not happened yet] is that will prove to be politically destabelizing of the goverments in europe that were on board with sactioning europe... An example of the kinds of destabilization is that Le Pen almost won in france.... This will cause europe to be a mix of western and eastern market influences. This will cause the US does more antisocial proxy kinds of things to keep market influence over europe and the east sweeting the pot.... The east has a lot of sweet things for econmies: Energy, efficient IT, manufactered goods.... They are the biggest trading parner all over the world.... They got what we need and they are compeating to be able to sell it... That is what the proxy war in Ukraine is about...

@inconvenientfacts8896 I think I outined my impressions... The sanctions were origionally targeted at europe to isolate europe from russian and chinese markets and make them more reliant on ameican monopolistic cartells. It is an ongoing project for the US... I can't imagine that they have a bigger effect on russia than europe. Still taking 300B in bank assets has to hurt... The probem with that is eventually it will hurt the US more when more contries get isolated and have to do buisness in other currencies. I haven't crunched the numbers myself.

@haroldcruz8550 Is the idea that she has political ambitions speculative or has she expicitly said that she has ambitions? Is it fair to speculate that the anti russian millatary postion is because she is hitching her wagon to those interests?

Very strong bias... My bias is 180 degrees... My bias runs contrary to MSM...

@inconvenientfacts8896 This strategy was no thought out well by the west. There is signals that they are toign to try and back track on the economic sanctions... It is clear that I don't really know what is going to happen... In general the US needs to reverse it's neoliberal stance or it is going to lose hegimony post haste. We have gone from a industrial capitalists base to a neoliberal model, more like feudalism... This war is symptom of that policy... One were we are destroying capitol and creating false scarcities. That is why china is so competitive... They are creating capital.

@ruizhang2452 I think people are speculating that she is hitching her political ambitions to anti russian interests... And this misleading presentation is part of that effort.

Her biases don't jive with mine... I think she is a hack.

@hitreset0291 We were going to say putin is a villian if he didn't do exactly what we wanted and break up russia into different contries... Putin got mixed results. The west got some very bad results... Europe is in big trouble and we have high inflation in the US for a veriety of reasons, most not related to russia... It is probable that europe wakes up and stops supporting the proxy war. They are getting very bad results.

@inconvenientfacts8896 Sanctions were in the works before the invasion.... The US tried to get the nord stream two shut down... That is how the west is getting what it wants from the war.... It is the motivation for not stopping eastward expansion... Russia said 'no nato eastward' Ukraine to be nutral, no offensive weopns aimed at moscow and denazification... West says we are arming as quick as we can in an eight year civil war agsint russians in ukraine. That was known for thirty years in the west... How can you say that a beligerent state in a civil war against russian ethincs for eight years, increasingly funded by the wes was not provocative?

@inconvenientfacts8896 And the US exited the nazis to coup, burning alive loads of people in Odesa... Then they desided who would be the leader and it hapened... See 'Ukraine Burning' for loads of details. But in any case the US got everything tactical that they were aiming for from the coup/war.... Again, either the US gets it's economy back to progressive capitalist or....
