At least in the US there was the excuse that people couldn't be sure exactly what kind of leader he'd be. But even after that WAS known he received the second highest vote of any US Presidential candidate ever, despite Biden winning. And now he's the official candidate of a major US political party. Netanyahu on the other hand was always known. Before his election he publicly and dramatically called for the assassination of Yitsak Rabin, the then Prime Minister of Israel. He was elected after the assassination took place, and re-elected multiple times since then.

The reason Biden not only does not support, but is trying to hurt, the ICC for going after Israelis for war crimes is that his behavior is consistent with his rhetoric around American military, financial, and political support for Israel's actions. The reason Biden supports the ICC for going after Russian war crimes is that it is consistent with his rhetoric around American military, financial, and political support for the war against Russia. There is no inconsistency here unless of course you are working with the premise that Biden's statements have anything to do with basic Justice or even basic Humanity.

  12. Wikileaks was a great idea; a platform for whistle-blowers. Instead it became a platform for airing stolen information. Not at all the same thing. Julian Assange himself is a self-obsessed weirdo who used his powerful connections to avoid trial for rape. That the US Administration had to confer credibility on his despicable obfuscations by charging him with espionage is highly regrettable.
