  1. George Carlin is part of my childhood. I watched him on my favorite shows Laugh In and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour back in the 60's and 70's. Imagine my surprise surprise when while watching Shining Time Station with my son in the 90's, I saw him again as the child friendly Mister Conductor. George Carlin was one of the most intelligent stand-up comedians of all time.

  2. Richard Pryor also started out as a "clean comedian. I purchased my own copy of FM & AM. One of my favorite cuts on that album is George's radio DJ routine.
