  27.  @panda177  Places where the bible condones the inherently evil act of slavery: Force them to marry: If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free. -Exodus 21:4 Buy and sell them: As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly. Leviticus 25:44-46 Use them for sex: So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife. Jacob slept with her, -Genesis 30:4 Beat them: When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the slave is his money.-Exodus 21:20-21 & “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12:47-48

  128. @Oompa Loompa Lets look a the issue of slavery. I will present the verses on slavery & you are free to explain how I took them out of context or under what context that slavery is okay and explain why the biblical "god" did not just forbid slavery: Things the bible says you can do with slaves: Force them to marry: If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12:47-48. Since you will not address this and admitted God does not condone evil and slavery is evil you remain defeated. PS: Saying this is copy and paste or argument by repetition is still dodging which is exactly what you have always done & will always do.

  252. Ways science has disproven the bible: We know that humanity didn't begin with a clay man & a rib woman in a magic garden with a talking snake. We also know it is far older than the few thousand years the bible says. And why is there no mention of dinosaurs which we know existed? In the ancient world Egyptians were an advanced civilization & excellent record keepers. Yet there are no records or evidence that any of the 10 plagues actually happened. The only account is in the bible & it doesn't even give the Pharaoh's name. It would not have been a secret what his name was but they didn't include it because the pharaoh & the story are myths. We know noah couldn't have happened for many reasons. 1) The continents had already divided by then. How could he have gotten 2 animals from across the globe with no land access to the middle east. 2) 2 animals cannot produce a viable species due to the dangers of incest. 3) When the rain came it would have risen the waters of the world mixing all the salt & fresh water which would have killed off all of the freshwater fish. They are still here. 4) Noah only saved 8 people: himself, his wife, his 3 sons, & their wives. Leaving noah & his wife out of the picture that means 6 people would have had to carry on the human race. 6 people, especially when 3 are directly related, cannot produce a viable species. Even if they could have, how would it account for the fact that we have a very wide variety of hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, heights, weights, frames, & other genetic differences? 5) Assuming noah had gotten very few of every animal on the ark, how would he have fed & watered them all? Especially considering that many were meat eaters. And let's add to that the fact that the bible says "god" told noah to sacrifice some of them after the waters had receded. So "god" wanted genocide? Then there is the bit about the talking donkey. And dont even get me started on Jonah being swallowed by the whale and living.

  315. @Oompa Loompa You say I take things out of context. Here's the 9th chance you will not use to prove that because your claim is false: Lets look a the issue of slavery.

  582.  @treym.milton5120  Ways science has disproven the bible: We know that humanity didn't begin with a clay man & a rib woman in a magic garden with a talking snake.

  829. @Pitts DaThird Ways science has disproven the bible: We know that humanity didn't begin with a clay man & a rib woman in a magic garden with a talking snake. Not to mention the boat would have had to been the size of an oil tanker to hold them all, far larger than a wooden boat could possibly be. Then there is the bit about the talking donkey. And dont even get me started on Jonah being swallowed by the whale and living.

  861. @Jack Reacher You lyingly claim I take things out of context. Here's the 17th chance I will give you which you will not use to prove that because your claim is false: Lets look a the issue of slavery.

Quoting jeff/vadouis: Mankind condones slavery, not God  Places where the bible condones the inherently evil act of slavery which proves it's not from God: Force them to marry: If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free.

1043. -Exodus 21:4 Buy and sell them: As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. Since you will not address this and admitted God does not condone evil and slavery is evil you remain defeated. PS: Saying this is copy and paste or argument by repetition is still dodging which is exactly what you have always done & will always do.
