  7.  @hillock10  A booming economy? The unemployment rate went down a "whopping" 1.2 % from where Obama left it, from 4.7 to 3.5, and Trump bragged about that! And that was before it skyrocketed to 14.7% due to his mismanagement of covid. The rate went down over twice that much in Biden's first year. What opportunities for working people did Trump create that Obama and Biden didn;t? Judging by the gains in employment under both of them, Trump's job creation sucked. And the Dow Jones nearly tripled under Obama. The US GDP was over 5 % in 2021, more than twice any GDP Trump achieved. Manufacturing went into a recession in 2019. What happened to all those jobs Trump was going to bring back from overseas? I guess the fact that his companies obtained 38 trademarks to do business in China, in addition to the dozens they already had, didnt help bring jobs back. Inflation? Tell me exactly what control any president has over inflation when, as it is now, it's a world-wide problem. Inflation is higher in most European countries than in the US. But you go ahead and continue believing Trump's lies about what a great president he was and what a booming economy he created. The facts say that both Obama and Biden did better.
