But go ahead and ignore the stock market performance and the 2.5% drop in unemployment from where Trump left it. Unemployment dropped only 1.2% in Trump's entire four years, at it;s lowest, 3.5.

Does unemployment have anything to do with the real economy? Trump sure thought it did when he bragged about his record 3.5% rate, which was actually a drop of a measly 1.2% from where Obama left it. It's dropped twice as much already under Biden. As far as gas prices, do you even buy gas? Prices have been droppping all month, and " "Gas Prices Nationally Expected to Drop Further , Expert Says". @11Nosferatu11 To reach that 3.5%, the unemployment rate only had to drop 1.2%, from 4.7 where Obama left it. That is absolutely... underwhelming. 7 million jobs created? 20 million lost in 2020. Fine job. And I still don't understand how that's possible when covid went from 15 cases down to zero in a couple days as Trump promised it would.

@11Nosferatu11 If you think a drop in unemployment from 4.7 to 3.5 is big, how about a drop from 6.4 where Trump left it to 4.2 where it is now, and that's in one year. Anybody could have done better than Bush? Obama inherited a terrible economy in a recession and we came out of it. Trump inherited a good economy. And I say good with qualifications. The main reason the economy looks "strong", under both Obama and Trump and now Biden , is the Fed's artificially low interest rates, which has resulted in more government and consumer debt and a wildly inflated and overvalued stock market. . How long can that go on?

As far as unemployment, it was 6.7 when Trump left office. It's now 4.2, a drop of 2.5 %. WhenTrump bragged about his record unemployment of 3.5%, that represented only a 1.2 % decrease from where Obama left it at 4.7. Of course it then jumped to 14.7 because of his mismanagement of covid.
