  1. The economy can take enough lockdown if the government were in the hands of the people. But the corporate class won't accept a government for the people. As simple as that. The capital would claim inability to survive and call a depression and a bankruptcy of the system. To accept a government working in behalf of the people would mean a defeat for the corporate class and the GOP won't allow it. Ask manchin and sinema. They are not tired of winning as Buffet and Trump said they wouldn't.
