  1. You may also have to look at the Iraqi Uprising/Insurrection in 1941. The British air/military base being attacked used some very old planes to defend itself, altho I can't say if there was air combat. Elsewhere in Iraq, I believe Gloster Gladiators were used against Me 110s.
