Seriously, do you not know how to Google the definition of something?" so the person commits the violent act, correct? so it's "people violence", no? when someone intentionally uses a knife to commit a violent act against another human being, do you refer to that act as "knife violence"? no... when someone intentionally uses an automobile to commit a violent act against another human being, do you refer to that act as "automobile violence"? no... when someone intentionally uses a hammer to commit a violent act against another human being, do you refer to that act as "hammer violence"? no... so why, when someone intentionally uses a gun to commit a violent act against another human being, do you refer to that act as "gun violence"? do you even know? can you articulate?

  5. @Endymos "gun violence is often just called "a shooting". Knife violence is typically called "a stabbing". Automobile murder is "vehicular homicide". The reason we don't refer to all of these things as "human violence" is because the human didn't kill with their bare fists--a weapon was used. So yeah, gun violence is a thing, it's real. You just don't like the term it seems" so then why do we use the term "gun violence" when referring to a shooting, but not use the term "knife violence" when referring to a stabbing?
