can someone please explain what "gun violence" is...?? I own a few guns, and have never seen any of them become angry, let alone violent.... wtf is "gun violence"???

@bingosunnoon9341 "It is causing harm from a distance by launching a projectile at another person." by "IT" I assume you are referring to a firearm... ok, so the firearm is causing harm from a distance. that's your definition of "gun violence".. correct? so if I shoot someone with a bow and arrow, the device delivering the projectile would be the source of the violence. so that would be "bow violence".. yes? is this really your explanation of "gun violence"? if I hit you with a rock, propelled by a sling shot, that would be "sling shot violence"??? are you being serious? or are you trolling me here....?

@discgolfcasados871 "the facts are that these shootings are happening all around the nation, regardless of political preferences." great, but you people are going nuts as if the original post had somehow implied that they were ONLY happening in liberal cities/states.... nobody even began to imply that shootings weren't occurring in states like texas, tennessee and oklahoma.... so why mention them? why not respond to what the original poster actually typed out?
