"Separation of church and state is a core principle of our country." no, it really isn't ken.. there is no "separation" of church and state ANYWHERE in our constitution. and if you actually do believe there is some reference to the "separation" of church and state in our nation's constitution, CITE and QUOTE it! including the word "separation"! good luck. in addition, you don't seem to understand the concept that our constitution guarantees my freedom OF religion.. not your freedom FROM religion.
5
yes!! I have been saying for YEARS... if we would only get back to the constitution, most of our problems would go away...
4
@jbenson989 LOL
4
but, but... it isn't his fault! it's the GUNS! <shakes head>
3
open until february..
3
@ARB826 yes, even like trump...
3
@jedinxf7 "they used to be aware of the constitutional wall of separation between church and state." there is no "separation" of church and state ANYWHERE in our constitution. and if you actually do believe there is some reference to the "separation" of church and state in our nation's constitution, CITE and QUOTE it! including the word "separation"! good luck.
3
because of who's on the supreme court? they are supposed to rule based on the supreme law of our land, our constitution, which is what they did... what do you even mean when you say "who's on the court"..?? are you referring to the black folks? the women? specifically, who do you have a problem with?
3
yep... why do we wait until this level of carnage to keep these criminals in cages?
2
@lightworker4813 "Wrong..." there is no "separation" of church and state ANYWHERE in our constitution. and if you actually do believe there is some reference to the "separation" of church and state in our nation's constitution, CITE and QUOTE it! including the word "separation"! good luck.
2
@ThatBee-kt6kq T R U U U M P !!!
2
@tylergodefroy8713 <shakes head>
2
@Dead_Guy_Bob "What about when they're made to feel like they'd be alienated if they didn't join?" tell them to get over it...
2
@jedinxf7 "they used to be aware of the constitutional wall of separation between church and state." and on another note there jed, our constitution guarantees my freedom OF religion... not your freedom FROM religion.
2
@Dead_Guy_Bob "try "people who actually understand the 1st amendment"." you understand the 1st amendment, and so you are bothered seeing a man pray??? ummm... ok bob.. a little strange to me, but... ok
2
HATERS!
2
and what about students who don't want to participate in "pride" activities joe...?? where are your tears for them...?
2
@Dead_Guy_Bob "Sure, if you wanna live in a theocracy." the school (state) was not making any law respecting an establishment of religion in this case. read the 1st amendment again. the amendment restricts the government, not the people.
1
to answer your question, liberals.. they have to poo on everything....
1
@TheGuyCalledX "It's a question of freedom of religion, vs separation of church and state, both key parts of the first amendment." there is no "separation" of church and state ANYWHERE in our constitution. and if you actually do believe there is some reference to the "separation" of church and state in our nation's constitution, CITE and QUOTE it! including the word "separation"! good luck.
1
@danielmolinar8669 "I'm sure they're fine with that. Go ahead and bring up something else irrelevant." I see.. a man prays, and it's a huge problem to the student population. people push homosexuality, and you're sure the students are fine with it. now I understand..... do you ever step back and listen to yourself? I know self awareness is not big on liberals, but good grief.... you can explain away anything, can't you..
1
@TmanRock9 "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; We call this little part “the separation of church and state”" nice try pickle, but that's a swing and a miss....... congress making law establishing a state religion is not the same things as telling a man he cant pray at a public school football game. are you even aware that over the house speakers seat is written "in god we trust"? focus on the second part of the phrase you posted pickle... "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"! do you know what that means? for senators? presidents? school football coaches?? good grief..
1
@lightworker4813 "That's exactly what I said, dimbulb." sorry, I guess I took your one syllable post the wrong way.. you obviously have a wonderful economy with words. I look forward to your next syllable with great eagerness. is the name calling necessary? I think I just insulted you far more than calling you "dimbulb"... but I doubt you will understand that....
1
@lightworker4813 "You don't know how to insult people. Try again, kid." ok... you dimbulb! better? <shakes head>
1
you are free to criticize this guy.. and not to attend any of the games.
1
"Yes, you have a right to pray. The school also had the right to remove potentially dangerous people who are suffering from delusion, aka people who pray." we dont call people we disagree with delusional, and lock them up in this country.... geeze, you think like.. well like an angry drunk person.
1
lol
1
@deplorablefederalist7908 fortunately, I did not see it.... liberalism is a mental disorder.
1
they dont have dads..
1
much more worried for trump at this point... I don't see anybody out to get cohen...
1
why isn't this lawyer as criminally liable as trump? shouldn't they BOTH be defendants??? what the hell is going on..?????
1
@deplorablefederalist7908 awesome federalist! keep up the good fight! WWG1, WGA
1
@111tedward "So you're fine with a coach praying with students to the Devil or to Allah then?" these citizens are free to pray to whomever they'd like. why cant libtards get past that concept...
1
@111tedward "This is about a coach leading students in prayer. I am not trying to take away anybody’s freedom to decide who to pray to, but public school kids should have that freedom, not be told what to do by a coach." I was unaware the children were forced to participate. where did you hear that?
1
@deplorablefederalist7908 "I always thought the separation of church and state was contained within the 1st amendment. Separation of church and state prohibits the government from demanding the people practice a particular religion, and the people don’t have to hide their religion." the separation of church and state are not in the 1st amendment. the first amendment limits the government, not the people. read it again. no where does it say that folks in the government cannot openly practice their religion. in fact, it states the exact opposite.
1
you're a christian, and assumed he was praying to win a football game, instead of for the safety of his players??? I'm NOT a christian, and I call BS!!! if you are a christian, you're a HORRIBLE christian.... I hope you're lying about being a christian...
1
@RaulGarcia-ns3zv "Just dont make a big spectical about it" the only people that turn these things into spectacles are libtards...
1
@Mouse_007 "Christians only see things in Christian terms. Would you still be ok if a Satanist coach gathered the kids on the fifty yard line after every game and thanked Satan?" and liberals are masters of division... prayer is prayer dave, the particular religion is irrelevant! but you cant see people as people either, can you... you have been trained to see blacks.. whites.. males.. females.... again, liberals are masters of division.
1
@dominicewing8940 "I don't believe he was praying to win, but rather for God to watch over his team." liberalism is a mental disorder. these people cant understand praying for something other than material things
1
@DBL6Domino "the separation of church and state" where did you find a separation of church and state?
1
@ralphking425 "it’s the constitution" there is nothing in our constitution restricting citizens, even employees of the state, from praying....
1
@TheYuleTube "A coach IS a teacher. And, privately, yes. Not as an authority figure." how do you feel about potus ending speeches with god bless america and americans...???
1
he didn't make children do anything. liberalism is a mental disorder.
1
@standingwhilepooping4685 lol
1
@lumberjackdreamer6267 "Imagine if it was a Muslim or Jewish prayer." what is with yo liberals... it was "prayer"!! the specific religion is irrelevant! this is the same mindset that doesn't allow liberals to see people as people... you have been trained to see black, or white, or male, or female... you liberals are masters of division. your post is an example.
1
great couple of weeks for americans who do not wish to fundamentally transform our country!!
