Why do you think we no longer vaccinate for smallpox? The virus was eliminated from the world's population. If we can eliminate this virus, we can come out of quarantine and not face infection.

@ilovelife3328 You're mad. This is a novel disease. That means when it hit, nobody had any immunity to it. Everyone was naive and at risk. We have vaccines against flu, including H1N1. No need to lock down when you can vaccinate the public. And, Ebola was never epidemic in the US. Also, you do not have a Constitutional right to kill people with your stupidity. Look at the moronic antivaxxers. Every court has ruled that states have a right to require vaccination, and exceptions need not be granted. Sure, you have the right to advocate stupidity, but you do not have the right to act upon it.
