@rinoponce1537 The CDC does not claim "41% of the population" already had Covid-19. Flu season is long over. At first scientists thought the flu season was lasting abnormally long this year, but many of the deaths attributed to influenza in January, February and March were really due to Covid-19. And the US is 26th in testing per capita, not first. Which is truly pathetic.

@PoWer to the sHeepLe No, they have separated asymptomatic from presymptomatic. They now claim that truly asymptomatic individuals have a low viral load and aren't quite as infectious. But, presymptomatic individuals have a heavy viral load and are the most infectious, even more than symptomatic individuals. Since these people show no symptoms, yet, and can infect a lot of people, they are quite dangerous. Which is why everyone, regardless of symptoms, should wear a mask and avoid spreading the virus.

Yashar'el in Captivity So, when would a person have the RNA of this virus in their system? When they are infected. So PCR does detect infection. And because you count the number of cycles needed before the viral RNA is detectable, it is quantitative, not qualitative.

@PoWer to the sHeepLe I think you mean Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Have your friend's doctors given him steroids to reduce the immune response that is demyelinating his nerves? You do know that a lot of the damage from infections of this virus is often the immune system over responding, don't you?
