  1. Well put. It is disgusting that status in most schools is based upon athletic prowess, not academic achievement. PE in schools should be activities that a person can do without a team. That would produce fitter adults, than the current couch quarterbacks. Universities and colleges should not be farm teams for professional sports. The money that is pissed away on fancy gyms and arenas, would be better spent on science labs and computers.
