@vietnamvet4533 Prior to Zelensky becoming Ukraine's PM, Putin had no need to conquer the entire country, as long as he had his warm water port in Sevastopol and a loyal oligarch in charge of the country. Further, he did not want to lose his puppet in the White House, so played no power games to weaken him.

@alexxela9502 The whole world knows Russia already has troops within Ukrainian borders, as they are occupying Crimea. And, Russia would not have so many troops surrounding Ukraine, complete with blood supplies, if it were not intending war.

@alexxela9502 The last thing Biden wants, is a war. It is Putin, who is worried about losing power, and trying to distract his people with another war of conquest. There was no genocide perpetrated by Ukraine, on Donbas. But, I'm sure Ukrainians remember the genocide Russia perpetrated on them, when all their food was stolen by the Kremlin, Holodomor.

@real_lostinthefogofwar No, NATO is not surrounding Russia. Due to Russian aggression, and illegal seizure of parts of Ukraine and Georgia, more countries are requesting NATO membership. It would be easy for Russia to stop NATO's expansion, just stop bullying its neighbors. Russia is like the rapist, complaining that more and more women are carrying rape whistles and pepper spray.

@FrankDaBank25 Trump wasn't tough, he just kowtowed to every authoritarian that existed. Name one dictator he didn't appease. I can name several he openly praised and gave anything they wanted, if Congress didn't stop him, Xi, Putin, Erdogan, Duterte, and Kim.

@morrisphillips2526 A much more applicable book is Gary Kasparov's Winter is Coming . Written in 2015, it predicted Putin's behavior well, and the reasons behind it.
