Just for grins, I looked up the costs of a sub-zero freezer (like needed for Moderna) and an ultra-sub-zero freezer (BioNTech/Pfizer). The sub-zero costs around $400, the ultra-sub-zero, about $35,000. And the ultra-sub-zero needs a special electricity supply, a normal 220V line won't do.

I'm guessing that it is Moderna's liposome coating that makes their mRNA vaccine so much more stable than the others. Normally, mRNA is quickly broken down by the numerous ribonucleases found in nature. He kept going on about CD4 cells, but CD8 cells have been shown to give a better immune response to this virus, CD4 cells are just helper cells for B cells. In other words, killer T cells seem more effective in killing the virus than antibody production. I've seen data on CD8 cells from the Oxford vaccine, which evokes a good cellular response.

I don't trust the Russian numbers, they are known to throw away any negative results as outliers. But, I am interested in the fact that theirs is a genetically modified adenovirus, rather than mRNA as all the others out there are. That would make it much more stable.
