@freedomlife3623 It's also a federal crime to break into a Federal Courthouse, and burn parts of it. I live in Portland, and the riots were not peaceful at all. And, I heard a lot of creeps claim it was OK to riot for a "just" cause. Biden may have condemned the looting and burning, but a lot of the "peaceful protesters' were egging it on. There is no difference between what happened this summer, and what happened in DC, except for duration.

@Aura_baby Two wrongs don't make a right. Yes, the people who illegally entered the capitol building should be jailed, and those who burnt, looted, and vandalized here in Portland should be too. I'd like to string up the racist antifa creep who burned down our Chabad. That doesn't make the seditious mob, Trump riled up, any better though.

@Jacob Pierre The BLM/antifa riots were not peaceful in Portland even before federal troops came in. When the federal troops came in, they actually quelled a lot of the crap happening here. It got worse when they left. What the press reported was not all that happened. The police refused to take any reports from people assaulted by the rioters, or who had property stolen or damaged by them. You obviously don't live here, and don't know how terrible these riots were. These anti-Semitic a-holes came into the Jewish part of town, and assaulted anyone who looked Jewish. They vandalized our synagogues, and burned down our Chabad. But, the news never reported the racist elements of the "peaceful protesters". And, don't try to claim it was right wing haters. The people who were attacked know who did it.

@cw1345 He said he didn't condone this riot. Do remember that this was just one day of violence, not the months of violence and destruction, we suffered here in Portland, over an incident that took place in the east.

@SpeakEnglishwithHelptoachieve Trying to overthrow the government is sedition, not treason. And, maybe the protests were peaceful in some cities, but the were violent and destructive in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago and Portland. The stupid, seditious attempt to prevent the Electoral count was wrong, but so were the unending riots this summer, where a lot more people were killed.
