@Tmaget No, the fact the suicide rate is high means they are confused. Which, considering their extreme body dysmorphia is obvious. The suicide rate is high for highly intelligent people too. Does that mean anyone with an IQ below 150 may not speak?

Previous generations have been politically active. These creeps are politically intolerant. That's disgusting!

If your side cannot explain their concerns, in a rational and polite debate, your side must be wrong. Seeing people shut others down, and prevent them speaking, says the intolerant ones, who cannot abide debate, must have a very weak argument.

@badpuppy3 One student group invited him to speak. And another decided that group had no right to listen to him. If the tables were turned, and a bunch of outside agitators disrupted any pro-trans speaker, and made it impossible for them to speak, would you feel the same? This whole group think thing has gotten out of hand. It's 1984 in 2023. We have the right to think differently than you do, comrade.

Do you mean women, who are losing their rights to these confused guys?

@sotonin The proper way to protest against a speaker you don't like is either wait until the speech is over, and engage in polite debate, or not show up.

So the answer to intolerance, is more intolerance? Balderdash! This inability to politely discuss differences is why our country is going downhill.
3
@LindaC616 No, the way to protest against ideas they dislike is to engage in polite debate, not shout people down, or defund them. If these kid's ideals are so weak, they cannot defend them in calm debate, maybe they are the ones who shouldn't be speaking.

@gerald5175 How is allowing Nazis to speak about killing us all, or let pro-Arab students speak about killing us all, any different? If there were no BDS groups on campuses, you might have a point. But, since Jewish students are being harassed, just for being Jewish, and not allowed to join numerous clubs, you have no point.

@Tony-md7dk Ah Chomsky, the man who is wrong about everything but grammar.

@catherinewilliams9680 You're a generation or two late. Those who protested against Vietnam are either grandparents, great grandparents, or dead.

@michaelwaynetucker Wanting a civil society is not a conservative idea, nor is it nonsense. Shutting someone down, who makes a more cogent point than you can. Typical "progressive" nonsense.

@cheyenneroll Shouting someone down, and taking away their right to free speech doesn't solve any problems, it only creates more friction and divide. These young people are disgusting! And so is anyone who supports their intolerant behavior!

The only rights I see being taken, are those of real females, to use changing rooms and restrooms, without males present, and to compete in women's sports, only against other women. Oh yes, and those who are against such loss of rights speaking about them. If you have to shout someone down, your ideas must be wrong.

@charlesfriscia7236 Are you illiterate? He said these little brats are taking another person's right to free speech away.
1
No, you have the right to engage in an intelligent debate. But, if you cannot let others have their say, it proves you know that your argument is weak, because you are wrong.

@tbug50 That is happening all over the world. Is there a campus, in the US, where BDS or a pro-Arab student group, has not called for the eradication of the only Jewish nation? If these hateful racists are allowed to march and protest, it is hypocritical to ban any other group of haters.
