  1. I was alive during Watergate, a teenager in a staunchly Republican family. It was not nearly as bad a scandal as this. The nation was far more upset about what Agnew had done. Nixon did one thing, cover up the plumbers. That information came out, and since the DNC had done something similar, wasn't as sickening. But, Trump squeaked out of impeachment for his crimes getting elected, and then turned around and did the same thing all over again, only worse. And a little break-in is not nearly as fatal a crime as acting like a mafia boss with the PM of Ukraine, strong-arming him to force illegal campaign assistance. It would be like, if after coming to grips with the Watergate break-in, we then found out Nixon had subsequently held up Fort Knox.

  2. In the interests of the US, Biden had a corrupt prosecutor who was not and never had been investigating his son fired for not doing his job. Later, in his own self interest, Trump held up money the Congress had authorized to try and force the Ukraine to provide illegal campaign assistance.

First off, Trump obviously pressured Zelensky, any thinking person can see that in the phone call transcript .In the IGIC report it states "the Complainant's Letter alleged, among other things, that the President of the United States, in a telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on July 25, 2019, "sought to pressure the Ukrainian leader to take actions to help the President's 2020 reelection bid.""

  4. First off, the complaint pertains to several calls. Second, even the doctored transcript of the call proves Trump engaged in blackmail to obtain illegal campaign help. The real question is why Trump supporters are willing to excuse obviously criminal behavior on the part of a mediocre president.
